Nanabenin -Sikorkor Installed 6 Chiefs To Fast-Track Developments In The Community

Nanabenin -Sikorkor, a suburb community of the Okere District in the Eastern Region, has installed 6 new Chiefs, which include:Odikro, Manklado, Mmrante hene, among others, to fast-track developments in the area.

Speaking to the newly installed Odikro of Sikorkor, Nana Opare Amponsah Barimah II, stated that the community has been neglected in development for many decades compared to surrounding communities, which is a concern to the new chief.

According to him, lack of portable drinking water, poor road network, no electricity, lack of telecommunication networks, among others, has been a challenge in the community, affecting daily activities.

He pledged that, together with his Chiefs, they will ensure that political leaders in the Okere District help bring developments to the area during their reign.

The Sanaa-Hene of Dawu Akuapem,Osahene Ampem Darko, on behalf of Dawu-Hene, urges all the newly installed Chiefs to unite and champion developments for Nanabenin-Sikorkor.
