Salaga South youth Receive Tools To boost Skills And Employment.

The MP explained that the exercise was conducted on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, in collaboration with her team, party executives, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the National Youth Authority, and the N.A.P Regional Coordinator
Addressing the apprentices during the presentation ceremony, the MP encouraged them to take their training seriously and complete it with dedication.
She noted that many apprentices are eager to finish their training within three to four years and quickly establish themselves.
According to her, once masters officially pass out their apprentices, they should strive to become highly skilled professionals within a short period.
She also proposed the establishment of an award scheme to recognize outstanding masters who provide quality training.
She explained that such recognition would make the masters top-notch professionals who would be widely recommended and respected within the community.
The MP further expressed confidence in the growing skills base within the constituency. She stated that when apprentices complete their training successfully, she would no longer need to travel to Accra for sewing services, as Salaga South now has well-trained and professional seamstresses. She urged residents to support local businesses, emphasizing that strengthening local enterprises would make it easier to find skilled workers within the constituency.
She also announced that a second batch of tools and equipment would soon be delivered.
She explained that the first phase of every intervention serves as a learning process to identify challenges and improve future distributions.
The next phase, she assured, would be bigger and better.
