Ahafo Ano North MCE Cuts Sod For Health And Education Projects At Manfo And Numasua.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ahafo Ano North Municipality in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Kwasi Adusei, has cut the sod for the construction of a health centre ward at Manfo and a six-unit classroom block for the Numasua English and Arabic Primary School.

The projects form part of efforts by the Municipal Assembly to improve access to quality healthcare and education within the area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Kwasi Adusei reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure development across the municipality.

He noted that the provision of the health facility ward would enhance healthcare delivery for residents in Manfo and surrounding communities, while the classroom block would create a conducive learning environment for pupils at Numasua.

He further highlighted what he described as the impactful leadership and developmental agenda of President John Dramani Mahama, stating that such initiatives align with broader efforts to improve the living standards of Ghanaians.

The Omanhene of the Manfo Traditional Council, Nana Kwaku Quarm II, expressed appreciation to the MCE and the government for the projects.

He described the interventions as timely and beneficial to the people of Manfo and its environs.

However, Nana Kwaku Quarm II used the occasion to appeal to the MCE and the government to address the deplorable state of the road linking Akwasiase to Manfo, which he said continues to pose challenges to residents and commuters.

He also called on the government to consider the construction of a Community Senior High School for Manfo, revealing that land has already been secured for the project.

According to him, the establishment of the school would greatly improve access to secondary education for the youth in the area.
