Free Primary Health Care All The 9 MDAs In Oti Region Are Captured In The First Batch. … Health Minister Reveals.

The minister for health, Hon.Kwabena Minta Akandor has revealed that, all the nine municipals and districts Assemblies in the Oti region have been captured in the first batch of the free primary health care program in 2026.
According to him, the ministry have captured 150 MMDAs to start with the program in 2026 out of the 261MMDAs before rolling in the rest of the MMDAs going forward.
He therefore called on traditional leaders, religious leaders, politicians and all relevant stakeholders in the region to embrace the program for it to benefit the masses.
On his part, the regional minister, Hon. John Gyapong commend the health ministry and Ghana health service for initiating the FPHC program.
He therefore promised the health minister of the regional coordinating council’s readiness to make sure the initiative succeed in all the MDAs across the region.
He also acknowledge the enthusiasm of the health workers in making the free primary health care program to succeed.
These comments were made at Dambai during the jlaunch of the FPHC policy in the Oti region to kickstart the program.
