Eastern Regional Delegates Conference Held In Asamankesse To Revamp Party Ahead Of 2028.
Lower West Akim The Eastern Regional Delegate Conference was organized in Lower West Akim Constituency, Asamankese, to energize party members and chart a path to reclaim the parliamentary seat lost to the N.D.C.
Addressing the Media, Nana Yaw Oduro Konadu, Lower West Akim Constituency Chairman, said the meeting was aimed at energizing the party in Asamankese to regain the seat they lost to the N.D.C and also to reunite the party in the Eastern Region for 2028 general election.
He added that unity among members remains critical to the party’s success. Unity is the only thing that can bring the party to power, Nana Yaw Konadu emphasized, he added again that the conference brought together party executives and delegates to discuss grassroots mobilization, internal cohesion, and strategies to strengthen the party’s structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The Member of Parliament for Asene/Manso/Akroso Constituency, Hon. Aboagye Kwame George, has accused the N.D.C government of failing to deliver on its 2024 election campaign promises.
Speaking to *Angel News Reporter Van Brown* during the Eastern Regional Delegate Conference held at Asamankese, Hon. George said unemployment remains high and the much-talked-about 24-hour economy has instead turned into a 24-hour market.
He asked, how many people can go to market at 2:00am, he stated, questioning the practicality of the government’s flagship policy.
The MP added that Ghanaians are yet to see the benefits promised by the N.D.C during the 2024 campaign, and called on party members to remain united and focus on winning back public trust ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Hon. Aboagye Kwame George, has called on the N.D.C government to stop what he described as attacks on democracy in the country.
Speaking during the Eastern Regional Delegate Conference at Asamankese, Hon. George appealed directly to President John Dramani Mahama to uphold democratic principles and leave a positive legacy.
The N.D.C government is too much attacking the democracy therefore I appeal to President Mahama to leave a good legacy.
