Afepaye is a notably farming community that produces a lot of cocoa and crops in Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti region.

Treckimg from Barniekrom to Afepaye it’s almost 13 kilometres but communication network is a major challenge facing them as Opinion leaders calls for government support.

Nana Kwadwo Simon (Sakawa) a polling station chairman of NPP and Opinion leader briefed MEDIA of this challenge saying technology has turned the world to global village and hence the humble appeal

Afterwards media asked him the roads network from  Barniekrom, Krachikrom, Adukrom, Nagoole, Afepaye enclaves as appeals to the Government for the roads network mediation as since 2012 till date things have been worse especially raining season and hence the appeal
