Dust Pollution Chokes Businesses In Antao, Residents Cry Out For Relief

Residents and food vendors in Antoa, located in the Kwabre East district of the Ashashanti region, are urgently calling on contractors working on the local road to expedite their work.

The pervasive dust pollution is not only harming their businesses but also posing serious health risks.

According to the affected individuals, the dust has contaminated their food and other items, leading to a significant decline in sales and ultimately, the collapse of their businesses.

Speaking to Angel News reporter Bismark Mensah, the residents are appealing to the contractors to frequently water the road to minimize the dust. However, this request has fallen on deaf ears, exacerbating the problem.

The situation has become so dire that many residents are now suffering from lung infections due to prolonged inhalation of dust.

The community is counting on the contractors to take immediate action and alleviate their suffering.
