Solani Montessori Celebrates Valentine’s Day

Solani Montessori, a prestigious school in the Bibiani township, celebrated Valentine’s Day in a grand style by organizing a special event for pupils and staff.
The event, dubbed “Give something to that special friend” saw the school hosting a dance where pupils socialized and had fun.
The teachers also incorporated Valentine’s Day-themed activities into their lesson plans, such as writing love poems and discussing the history and significance of the occasion.
Mr. Solomon Aniah, the CEO of the SOLANI group of companies who are into surveying, Estate development, building materials, and heavy-duty equipment, emphasized the essence of quality education, hence the establishment of the the school with a huge capital.
He further stated that education is not reading and writing and passing examinations but the training of the individual’s heart and mind to fit well into society. “Giving is a virtue which should be cultivated by all to make the earth a comfortable place to live.” ” By so doing, the haves will support the have-nots”, SOLANI added.
The CEO urged parents to send their wards to the school for sound Moral, Spiritual, Psychological and Emotional training to provide the needs of the 21st Century.
The school can boast of state-of-the-art facilities to help students surmount the challenges of the 21st Century. Chocolates and other packages were distributed by the CEO to staff and the pupils.
In his address, the headmaster of the school, Mr. John Owusu reiterated the essence of giving and sharing since the Almighty God demonstrated the virtue in the Bible by giving His only begotten son to die for the salvation of mankind.
He continued that the quantum of the gift is not important but the intention and the impact are essential to alleviate human suffering and poverty.
He stressed without equivocation that the poor and the needy should be supported in diverse ways. By so doing, the myriads of problems confronting individuals will be curtailed.
Overall, the school created a warm and festive atmosphere to spread love and appreciation among the school community.
