Minister Assures Nananom Of Ultra Modern 24-hour Economy Market Complex In Effutu

The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs who doubles as the MP for Banda constituency Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim has assured Nananom and people in Effutu of ultra modern 24Hour Economy market complex which can serve the whole of Central Region.

According to the Minister, this is part of president Mahama’s vision to create job for the people in Ghana and central region at large.

The Minister was addressing a gathering during the 2025 Aboakyer festival durbar in Effutu today where he demanded for four acres of land for the construction of the 24Hour Economy market complex which would contain police station, fire service station and others.

However, the Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Panyin Okyere on his side, urged investor to come and establish factories in Effutu to create jobs for the youth.

The Minister appealed to the companies who always come to do business and sponsor the Aboakyer festival to find a way to establish businesses in Effutu and employ the youth in Effutu to help reduce unemployment in Effutu.

Adding more to his point, he urged nananom to encourage the youth to prioritize skill training to help support president Mahama’s job creation agenda.

In conclusion, the Omanhene of Effutu, Neenyi Ghartey VII on his side urged the Central Regional Minister to work hard and create jobs in Effutu and central region as large.
