Abstain From Drugs To Enable You To Lead The Next Generation….Chief Iman To Ghanian Youths

The Chief Iman for Asuogyaman District in the Eastern Region,  Sheik Umar Mahmud Barre has advised Youths in Asuogyaman district and across the country to abstain from drugs to enable them to lead the next generation with leadership roles.

Speaking with Angel News reporter  Jaman Dehyee Opambour at Senchi , Sheik Umar highlighted the growing trend of drug abuse among Ghanaian youths, deeming it a significant threat to the development of responsible leadership for the next generation.

He stressed that individuals who become addicted to drugs may find themselves ill-equipped to take on influential roles such as that of an Imam or Pastor, as these positions demand respect and the capacity to positively impact society.

He therefore urged young people to prioritize their health and mental clarity to ensure they are ready to take on future responsibilities.

Additionally, Alhaji Issah Sanjina, Deputy Zongo Chief at Senchi, called on Muslim youths to respect their elders, foster unity among different tribes and religious communities.

They made these statements during the El Adha Celebration at Senchi in the Asuogyaman District.
