Embrace Women Leadership In Both Governance And Tradition- King Mswati III Urges National House Of Chiefs

His Majesty King Mswati III, Head of State and King of the Kingdom of Eswatini, has met with the National House of Chiefs at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi, as part of his four-day state visit to strengthen diplomatic and cultural relations between Ghana and Eswatini.
Addressing the National House of Chiefs, King Mswati III explained the need for Ghanaians to preserve our cultural heritage as that reflects who we are made off.
The King of the Kingdom of Estwatini also highlighted the importance of traditional diplomacy in fostering cooperation between nations.
He further added the need for both governance and tradition to embrace women’s leadership roles in various aspects, as women play a very vital role in nation-building.
His Majesty King Mswati III emphasised that his visit aims to strengthen the friendship between Ghana and Eswatini and enhance their relations, focusing on areas such as trade, education, tourism, etc.
The President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, stressed that Ghana is committed to preserving its cultural heritage, which is why all regions have a traditional representative in the council.
He continues that they will do their very best as traditional leader to ensure our culture is reflected in us.
