Chief Of Twifo Agona Makes Heartfelt Appeal For Community Development

The chief of Twifo Agona, Nana Benkyi Awuah II, has issued a heartfelt appeal to the government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to provide much-needed social amenities to his community. Speaking at the District Disaster Day celebrations in Twifo Agona, the chief highlighted the community’s pressing needs, including a market, football pitch, and job opportunities.
Nana Benkyi Awuah II lamented the collapse of the community’s market day, which has had a significant impact on the local economy.
To revive the market and create jobs, he suggested transforming it into a 24-hour market.
This, he believes, would encourage farmers to increase their production, knowing they have a reliable market to sell their produce.
The chief’s plea emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts to address the community’s challenges.
By providing social amenities and supporting economic initiatives, the government, NGOs, and individuals can help create opportunities for the youth and residents of Twifo Agona, contributing to the community’s overall development and prosperity.
