Krombacher MD And German MP Visit Angel Group In Kumasi To Strengthen Ghana……Germany Business Ties.

The Managing Director of Krombacher, Mr. Oliver Braun, together with German Member of Parliament Volkmar Klein, has paid a working visit to the premises of Angel Group of Companies, producers of Adonko Bitters Limited, in Kumasi.

The visit, according to Mr. Braun, was aimed at strengthening the long-standing friendship between Ghana and Germany as well as deepening personal and business relationships between the two companies.

Today’s visit is to maintain and strengthen the friendship between Ghana and Germany and also our personal friendship.

We want to bring our companies together for a hopeful future.
Krombacher will be happy to partner with Angel Group of Companies, and I believe this will be a win-win situation for both companies and both countries, he said.

Mr. Braun expressed admiration for the facilities at Angel Group after touring the production lines.

“Visiting Kumasi today and seeing the products, facilities, and machines, I am really impressed,” he added.

He further indicated that he would encourage Germany’s Trade Ministry to help remove trade barriers and promote open borders to facilitate free trade between the two countries.

According to him, easing such obstacles would create new opportunities for young people, including access to contracts and business growth.

The Chief Executive Officer of Angel Group of Companies and Member of Parliament, Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah, described the visit as a significant step in strengthening the collaboration between the two companies.

She noted that this was not the first engagement between Angel Group and Krombacher.

“This is not our first meeting. Previously, we visited Germany. Some of our products and machines are from Germany, including Adonko Next Level. We have collaborated for a long time, and many of the machines we use are imported from Germany,” she said.

Hon. Oteng Mensah explained that Krombacher officials had heard about the success of Angel Group, particularly in the bitters market, and expressed interest in working more closely with the company.

“Although we have not been in operation for very long, when it comes to bitters, we are doing very well. Today, we had the opportunity to take them around the company both inside and outside to show them how we operate. We took them through the soft drinks side and the alcohol side, she stated.

She revealed that Angel Group is considering expanding into beer production and sees the partnership with Krombacher, a well-established beer company, as strategic.

Krombacher is a beer company, and we also want to work with them. The next product line Angel Group wants to introduce is beer, so we want to collaborate with people who already have experience in that sector, she added.
