The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu West in the Eastern Region,Tamimu Halidu, has urged candidates preparing for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to study hard and strive for excellent results after the municipality organized a district-wide mock examination for final-year students.

The mock examination was organized by the Ghana Education Service in collaboration with the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly to assess the preparedness of candidates ahead of the upcoming BECE.

Addressing the candidates, the Municipal Chief Executive encouraged them to take their studies seriously and use the mock examination as an opportunity to identify their weaknesses and improve before the final examination.

He emphasized that education remains a key pillar for development and urged the students to stay disciplined and focused in order to make their schools, parents, and the municipality proud.

According to him, the mock examination is an important step in preparing the candidates for the final BECE, and therefore they must take advantage of it to strengthen their academic performance.
