Police have restored calm at Twifo Bimpong Agya following a violent clash among local youth, popularly referred to as “ghetto boys,” which led to the stabbing death of a 33-year-old man, Ebenezer Akorli.

The situation escalated after news of his death spread, prompting some angry youth to allegedly set several houses ablaze in retaliation for the killing of their colleague.

The cause of the clash is yet to be established.

Police say they have launched a manhunt for the perpetrators, while investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend those involved.
