Easter Compassion In Action Madina MP Donates GH₵60,000 To Save Child With Heart Defect.
Hon. Dr. Francis Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for the Madina constituency, has donated GH₵60,000 to support a life-saving surgery for a six-year-old boy diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, specifically a ventricular septal defect (VSD).
The timely intervention offers renewed hope to the child’s family, significantly improving his chances of survival at a critical moment.
Speaking to Nyansapo News during a special Good Friday compassion outreach, Dr. Sosu emphasized the importance of empathy and collective responsibility in supporting vulnerable members of society.
He urged individuals, institutions, and well-meaning citizens to extend help to those facing severe medical and financial challenges, especially during periods of reflection such as Easter.
The donation forms part of his annual Easter outreach initiative, which assists constituents dealing with health conditions and other pressing needs.

In a desperate effort to secure medical care, Mr. Mawuli disclosed that he was forced to sell his land to cover mounting treatment costs.
He concluded with heartfelt prayers for blessings upon Dr. Sosu and expressed hope that the support received will lead to a successful surgery and full recovery for his son.
