Akuse VRA International School Graduates 38 B.E.C.E Students, Urges Fact-Checking Of Information.

The VRA International School Limited at Akuse in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region has graduated 38 B.E.C.E students, urging them to verify information on social media.

Speaking at the 2026 Speech and Prize Giving Day and 12th Graduation Ceremony at Akuse, Eric Mensah Bonsu, Managing Director of VRA International Schools Limited, stated that the world has become an information and technology age, where social media has become a major source of information for many students and people, which they need to verify to enhance their education.

According to him, there is a lot of misinformation on social media, and he advised the students to double-check information and avoid spreading misinformation from social media, which may land them in trouble with the laws of the country.

Samuel Kwesi Tettey,  Director of Education for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, urged the students to seek verification of information on social media from their teachers and parents for their education.

Gladys Appiah, Headmistress of VRA International Schools Limited at Akuse, stated in an interview that they have prepared and trained the students of Akuse VRA International School on the impact of social media and information verification, which she believes they will adhere to in order to enhance their education.
