The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Akwatia constituency of the Eastern Region, including constituency secretary Eugene Acheampong, has expressed confidence in securing victory in the 2028 elections, following a peaceful and successful polling station election.

New Patriotic Party Akwatia Constituency Secretary, Eugene Acheampong, addressing the media on the aftermath of the party’s polling station elections, emphasized that the exercise was conducted peacefully and successfully, with all rules and regulations governing the elections strictly adhered to and implemented without any hindrance.

He expressed gratitude to all voters and contestants for ensuring a violence-free polling station election and called for unity and togetherness among party members in the quest to reclaim the Akwatia Constituency seat for the NPP in the 2028 General Election
