Deputy Health Minister Donates Brand-New Pickup Vehicles To Police And Fire Service Commands

‎In a demonstration of her deep commitment to the welfare of the Essikado-Ketan Constituency, Deputy Minister of Health Hon. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah recently donated a brand-new Changan Hunter pickup truck to the Fijai Fire Service Station, part of the Western Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service.

‎This donation aims to enhance the operational efficiency and rapid response capabilities of the fire service in emergencies.

‎According to Dr. Ayensu-Danquah, this timely support will empower the dedicated fire officers to protect lives and property across the constituency and beyond.

‎Earlier, the Deputy Minister had also donated a brand-new police pickup truck to the Essikado-Ketan District Police Command.

The Ghana Police Service officers at the Essikado Division have worked tirelessly to maintain law and order since the division’s establishment; however, they previously faced challenges due to a lack of logistics, particularly vehicles necessary for effective patrolling.

This made the new vehicle a vital addition to their resources.

‎The donation aligns with a key campaign promise made by Dr. Ayensu-Danquah to enhance safety and improve logistics for law enforcement within the constituency.

‎“Increased police visibility is crucial not only for public safety but also for economic growth,” she stated. “When our community feels safe, businesses thrive and communities prosper. This is the vision we are building—a New Essikado-Ketan.”

‎During a brief ceremony, Dr. Ayensu-Danquah emphasized the urgent need for new police stations in Kojokrom,

Kansaworodo, and Essikado. She explained that these proposed facilities would enhance community policing and provide essential support for the 24-hour economy agenda of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama.

‎This gesture reflects her broader vision to strengthen security infrastructure and increase the visibility of the Ghana Police Service in the area.

‎Dr. Ayensu-Danquah also noted that, despite over two decades of neglect and underdevelopment by the ruling NPP government, it is time for genuine, people-centered leadership. “We are changing the narrative—one action at a time,” she declared.

‎Both the Essikado-Ketan District Police Command and the Western Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service expressed their profound gratitude to the MP for her timely and practical intervention, stating that the new vehicles will significantly enhance patrol operations, emergency response, and overall service delivery.

‎The donation of these vehicles is part of a growing list of developmental initiatives spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah.

Her leadership continues to inspire hope and drive real change in Essikado-Ketan.

End.
