We Need Urgent Evacuation Of 40 Years Dumping Site In Our Area–Tunsuom/Botuku Traditional Authorities

According to the traditional Area of Tunsuom of Mampong municipality in the Ashanti region and the residence of Tunsuom are pleading and asking for evacuation of 40years mountainous refuse dump.

Nana Osei Barima 1, who’s the Gyaasehene of Tunsuom traditional Area in Asante Mampong who spoke on behalf of Tunsuom/Botuku chief,Nana Agyenim Boateng, told the journalist that, since the president’s vision is to clean Ghana and improve sanitation to prevent any health hazards which the dump sites may pose to residence.

The Assembly member of Tunsuom electoral also spoke to the journalist of the behalf of his people(residence).

According to hon Ali,the assembly man, pleading with the Municipal Chief Executive of Asante Mampong and HE John Dramani Mahama to come their to curb their 40years mountainous refuse dump, since sanitation is the priority for the Ghanaian and as well as Asante Mampong.

He added that,even now his electoral Area always denied the announcement of Tunsuom Batuku traditional Area communal labourer(asafo dwuma).

And also lamented a lot of challenges including their main road linking from Mampong main lorry park passing through Tunsuom/ Botuku chiefs palace to St Joseph’s SHS and Unity private school.
