Let’s Stand Tall For Peace, Unity and Support..Akokoa Chief To His Zongo Traditional Council

Chief of Akokoa and the Nifahene, Atebubu Traditional Area, Nana Owusu Kofi II, and the Council of Zongo Chiefs in Akokoa to discuss peace, unity, and community support.

The Akokoa Chief emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence, especially in light of the recent conflict between Akokoa and Amantin which has resulted in refugees seeking shelter in Atebubu Traditional Area.

The traditional authorities of Akokoa led by Nana Owusu Kofi Sa II urged the Zongo leadership to ensure that any weapons in “wrong hands” are surrendered to maintain peace and harmony in the area.

As a gesture of support and a means to foster development, Nana Owusu Kofi Sa II announced a lot of projects and requested the Zongo Chiefs to work hand in hand to support and protect their community for a better future.

reaffirmed the vital role of the Zongo community in the leadership and overall development of the Akokoa Traditional Area.

This meeting highlights ongoing efforts by traditional leaders in Ghana to promote social cohesion and stability between different communities within their jurisdictions.

Some of the chiefs and the Queens also added their voice to praise the Akokoa Zongo community, especially their leadership and supportive.

The Akokoa deputy Zongo Chief on the their side also hailed Nana Owusu Kofi Sa II for accepting them in his land since from their ancestors till now.

According to the Zongo traditional authorities, they are really appreciate and enjoying the love of Akokoa Chiefs the community.
