Chieftaincy And Religious Education Is My Top Most Priority- Nana Nyarko Nyampong

An Elder in the Church of Pentecost has been installed as the Krontihene of Kwahu Nkwatia in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region underKwahu Traditional Council.

Elder Kofi Nyarko who by the virtue of kingship is known as Nana Nyarko Nyampong II has set education as his first and top most priority in his traditional Area to assist brilliant but poor children to access education since is the key to success.

Speaking with Angel FM/ TV news Oheneba Siaw, Nana Nyarko said quality education is needed for the children in the enclave to excel in development therefore investing in their education will help improve the living standard of them and their households.

Again, he said Old Ladies in the area too is of much interest for him as well to help them find a living in the area, he said most of them had their children leaving in the urban cities which makes them difficult to cater for them healthy and protectively.

Commenting on his role as an Elder in the Pentecost Church, he said due to the perception attached to enskinment, the stool has be reserved for him about 2 year ago, but he thought it wise it is time he take up the mantle and lead his people in development and general wellbeing.

On his side, The Kwahu Nkwatia Hene Nana Boamah Ayirepe III expressed his gratitude to the family of royals who have deemed it fit to provide a Krontihene to the traditional area.

He also used the opportunity to advise his citizens to observe the customary rights of sacred days, which are Akwasidae, Mememda Dapaah, and other days, which is known to them to avert the wrath of the gods.
