Court To Decide Fate Of Suspects In Stephen King Amoah Murder Case

The suspect, Bright Aweh, and another accused, Thomas Zigah, appeared in court regarding the murder of Immigration Officer Stephen King Amoah.

The two are charged with conspiracy to murder and murder. Amoah’s burnt body was found in a drain near Abom Junction after he went missing in July 2025, following a meeting with Aweh.

The police investigation revealed a financial dispute between Aweh and Amoah, with Aweh allegedly giving Amoah GH¢500,000 to settle a debt.

The case has been adjourned to February 25, 2026, pending advice from the Attorney-General’s Office.
