Fire Destroys Properties At Suame.

A furious inferno has destroyed properties worth millions of cedis at Suame of the Ashanti region.

The said incident occured today at about 9am when the inferno stated from a self contain storey building, thereby consuming properties in the building.

Speaking in an interview with Sompa News, Eyewitnesses who helped in fighting the inferno disclosed that the outbreak yesternight was due to an electrical fault from the electrical meter.

” We had to mix washing powder with water in fighting the fire and by God’s grace we brought the fire’s strength down before the Ghana National Fire Service personnel arrived at the scene”.

They revealed that they placed a distress call to the Fire Service office but they thought to fight it with their little knowledge before the arrival of the service personnel.

However, the victim tenant, Kadre Adamu, also accounted for what happened when speaking to Bawah Baidoo in an interview.
