Asante Gold Bibiani Ltd Commission New Ultra Modern School Block From Kg, Jhs To Bibiani Old Town And Zongo Community.

During the handing over ceremony, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi ll who is the paramount chief of Anhwiaso Traditional Area and the President of the National House of Chefs urges Bibiani Old Town and Zongo Primary and JHS teachers and parents to own an ultra-modern school constructed for them and work extra hard to produce future leaders.

Again, The President of the National House of Chiefs and paramount chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso traditional area ,Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi ll has called on teachers and parents of Bibiani Zango to own a newly 9 unit classroom blocks with teachers bungalow and 2 bedrooms apartment for the headmaster and work extra hard towards achieving academic laurels and maintaining the facility to achieve its intended purpose.

He further urged the Company, Asante Gold Bibiani Limited to also put measures in place to ensure they do something monumental to the Anhwiaso state.

He brought these to bare during the handover ceremony of an ultra-modern classroom blocks with a decent ICT Labs for both primary and JHS as part of the resettlement program for Bibiani Old Town and Zongo at Bibiani resettlement site

The Community Relations Manager, Lawyer Emmanuel Aidoo who delivered a speech on behalf of the Company recounted some of the challenges encountered during the preliminary stages of the resettling processes of Bibiani Old Town and Zongo Communities.

He expressed his profound gratitude especially for Asante Gold Bibiani Limited mine during their time to have achieved a mile stone in the history of the Bibiani mine which started way back in 1892, about 134 years.

The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Director of Education, Mr Richard Boateng who was so elated looking at the facilities assured Ogyeahoho and Asante Gold Corporation of their commitment to ensuring the sustainability of the project. He further urged the Communities own and protect the project to ensure its longitivity .

The General Manager of Asante Gold Bibiani Limited, ING. Samuel Kwesi Takyi also in his speech assured the people of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of his Company’s Commitment to constructing an ultra-modern hundred beds capacity O&J blocks ( 100 beds) for the Bibiani Municipal hospital with morden equipments in a way to end maternal mortality in the area.

He again assured the CEO of Asante Gold Corporation, Mr David Anthony and the people of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai that the face of the resettlement will also see another school blocks with Computer Labs .
