Gomoa Easter Carnival Boosts Local Economy — Odikro Commends Mp.

The Odikro of Gomoa Ekwamkrom in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region, Nana Dr. Ewuahaa II, has commended the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Hon. Kwame Asare Obeng, for successfully organizing the Gomoa Easter Carnival in the community.

The colourful event, which took place in Gomoa Ekwamkrom, brought together residents and visitors from different parts of the country to celebrate the Easter festivities.

Speaking with Angel TV reporter Nana Kojo Asare, Nana Dr. Ewuahaa II expressed appreciation to the Member of Parliament for initiating such a historic programme.

According to him, the carnival has significantly boosted economic activities in the area and also helped to promote the name of Ekwamkrom and the Gomoa enclave to the outside world.

However, the Omankrado of Gomoa Ekwamkrom used the opportunity to urge the organizers to ensure the continuity of the carnival in the coming years to help improve the livelihoods of the people in the community.

Some elders in the community also expressed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament for the initiative and called for more such programmes to further promote development in Gomoa Ekwamkrom.
