Tension At AAMUSTED Mampong Campus After Student Allegedly Beaten By School Accountant Over Affair Rumour.

Tension has gripped the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) Mampong campus following the alleged brutal assault of a level 300 student called John Osei Kuffour by the school’s accountant, who is also a lawyer.

According to accounts, the student who is both a student of the institution and a pastor was mercilessly beaten by the accountant over claims that he was having an affair with the accountant’s wife.

The victim was reportedly beaten beyond recognition, sparking outrage and unrest on campus.

The brother of the victim Bro Akwesi Nketia has appealed for justice, calling on authorities to intervene.

He argued that regardless of the allegations, the accountant had no legal right to take the law into his own hands and inflict such harm on the student.

“The accountant, who is also a lawyer, cannot beat my brother mercilessly and still walk around freely.

We are demanding justice,” the brother said.

The incident has created unease among students and staff at the campus.

Reports suggest the accountant’s wife is a church member and occasionally interacts with the student in online church activities, though the student has denied any romantic involvement with her.

The alleged assault has raised concerns about discipline, abuse of power, and the safety of students within the institution.

The brother is urging the school authorities and law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure the accountant is held accountable.

As of now, the accountant is said to be moving around freely despite the severity of the assault, while the victim’s family awaits official action from the school and relevant authorities.
