NPP Party Supporter Stabbed Over Money Disagreement During Thank You Tour

A disturbing incident occurred during the New Patriotic Party’s thank you tour in the Ashanti region, specifically at Bantama Pentecost, on yesterday.

A supporter of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, an alleged level 300 student from KNUST, was stabbed following a violent confrontation over money distribution.

According to eyewitnesses, the group of NPP supporters were given money by a car dealer as they were about to leave Bantama Pentecost Maxi.

However, a macho man suddenly appeared and attempted to take the money from them. When they struggled with him, he started firing warning gunshots, and one of their members was stabbed.

The victim was rushed to Suntreso Hospital but was later referred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for further treatment.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong visited the victim at KATH and later went to the Sofoline police station to file an official complaint.

Information reaching Angel News indicates that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has withdrawn from the NPP Ashanti region thank you tour following the incident.

The situation is still unfolding, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
