A/R Okada Rider Beheaded in Tepa Asuhyea

A horrific crime has shaken the community of Tepa Asuhyea in the Ahafo Ano North municipal of the Ashanti region, where 24-year-old okada rider Antwi Silas, popularly known as Paa Yaw, was brutally beheaded.

According to eyewitnesses, Paa Yaw, a resident of Tepa Subrisu, was approached by two unknown gentlemen around 11 pm on yesterday to transport them to Asuhyea. Upon arriving at the Asuhyea cemetery, the suspects allegedly attacked and butchered Paa Yaw, who cried out for help before succumbing to his injuries.

Some individuals nearby, who were at the cemetery, heard Paa Yaw’s cries and rushed to the scene, causing the suspects to flee, leaving the victim’s body behind without taking a pin.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many residents expressing outrage and sadness.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Tepa Government Hospital mortuary for autopsy and preservation.

The Tepa Police Command has launched an investigation into the gruesome murder and is currently searching for the suspects.
