Shock At Abesim AS 19-Year-Old Shs Graduate Allegedly Commits Suicide In His Room.

Residents of Abesim in the Juaben Municipal of the Ashanti Region have been thrown into deep shock and sorrow following the sudden death of a 19-year-old boy who allegedly died by suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Kofi Nkansah, a Senior High School graduate who had recently completed SHS
According to preliminary information gathered, the heartbreaking incident occurred yesterday at about 8:30 pm. Kofi had reportedly returned to his room to sleep, only for family members to later find him in a lifeless state, plunging the entire household into wailing and disbelief.
Family members who spoke to Newsmen could not hold back their tears as they described Kofi as an exceptionally decent, calm and respectful young man who kept to himself and had no known disputes with anyone in the community.
“Kofi was a very good boy, very decent. He has no friends who are troublesome in this area. We are still in shock because we never expected this. We are mourning our beloved son,” one relative narrated.
The sad news quickly spread across Abesim, drawing sympathizers to the family house. Many residents described the deceased as a promising young boy with a bright future ahead of him.
Meanwhile, the Assemblyman for the area Mr Theophilus Yeboah, in an interview, recounted how he received the distressing call about the incident and rushed to the scene, only to be met with a scene of grief and confusion.
The body of the deceased has since been retrieved by police and deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy while investigations continue to unravel the circumstances that led to his death.
