Governs Kwame Agbodza to intervene and take immediate action as the Municipal Assembly has stopped an individual who’s willingly spending millions of cedis fix a 2.5km inner roads at Mile 11 .
According to the residents, for the past few years the aforementioned road was a death trap where vehicles were unable to ply it until the above individual fixed the 2.5km road with over 600 trips of gravels ready to asphalt it, the explained.
The Leader who spoke on behalf of the Residents Association Mr. Antwi Bosiako stated that, the most painful aspect of the issue is that the Ga South municipal Assembly led by the MCE Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Occansey has threatened to destroy the road constructed and ready to start asphalt works since the individual refused to give the money to Assembly Engineers to fix the road.
Mr. Bosiako was speaking to the media in a press conference to register their dissatisfaction over the current situation and threat from the Ga South municipal Assembly yesterday.
On the other hand, some motorists and residents who ply the stretch used the opportunity to call on the government through the ministry of roads and Highways to the MCE Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Occansey to order or face their wrath.
