Tema GPHA Commission  New Multi Purpose Vessel After Mr. Gordon Anim

The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority has just commissioned a brand-new, 470-tonne, high-performance multi-purpose vessel, aptly named ” GORDON ANIM” after a renowned former Director of Port, 1 to significantly enhance the operational capabilities 111of Ghana’s ports, prioritizing safety and sustainability within the maritime domain.

Mr. Gordon Anim’s  remarkable 35-year tenure at Tema and Takoradi ports was marked by numerous transformative contributions, earning him a lasting legacy.

The commissioning of the vessel at Tema Port marks a significant milestone in the port’s expansion and its readiness to embrace the future of maritime trade. According to *Madam Sandra Opoku,* Director of Tema Port, this move signifies not only an increase in the port’s capacity but also its commitment to advanced technology and sustainable practices.

The vessel has been named after *Mr. Gordon Anim,* a nod to his remarkable contributions to the port.
