Vote For Track Record, Not Money – Odatefio To NDC Delegates.

National Youth Organiser aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Steven Nhyira Odaitefio, says his track record in youth empowerment and job creation makes him the right candidate to lead the party’s youth wing.

Speaking at a press conference to formally announce his intention to contest the position, Mr. Odaitefio cited several initiatives he has undertaken over the past five years, including a programme that supported 800 young women in the Northern Region who, according to him, had no opportunity to pursue tertiary education.

He further disclosed that he had provided 6,428 pieces of equipment over the past two years to about 11 agribusinesses in Ghana, contributing to the creation of jobs for more than 100,000 young people.

He argued that such interventions demonstrate his understanding of how available opportunities can be harnessed to create sustainable livelihoods for Ghanaian youth.

He said young voters, particularly those between 18 and 44 years, are expecting the government and the NDC to translate campaign promises into tangible improvements in their lives.

He therefore urged NDC delegates to elect a National Youth Organiser who has the competence, experience and track record to create opportunities for young people.

He also cautioned delegates against allowing money to influence their choice, urging them instead to vote for a candidate capable of effectively serving their interests and strengthening the youth wing of the party.
