One Shop Totally Burnt, Over 20 Others Afftected By Fire At Kejetia Dubai Market.
One shop has been burnt while over 20 different shops have been affected by a furious inferno at the Kejetia Dubai market..
According to source, the incident started at about 8:25 am today where a Maches, Canndle, silver shine, etc with a shop number, F2230 caught fire at market Gate 4.
In an interview with Angel Tv/ Fm News reporter, Bismark Mensah, Nana Akwasi Prempeh, President for the Federation of Kumasi Traders, he said they have been complaining about the insufficient water pipes in the market.
He said the insufficient fire wholes makes fighting fire outbreak in the maket very difficult.
Currently, the fire fighters have fought and defeated the inferno.
He therefore called on the market authorities as well as the government to resource the fire station in the market and also make proper security measures for the market to avoid any future occurrence.
