Atwima Kwanwoma NDC Delegates Throws Support Behind Team Jabari Ahead Of Elections.

Aspiring Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Solomon Reuben Jabari, together with his team, known as Team Jabari, has received massive endorsement from delegates ahead of the party’s upcoming constituency elections.

The delegates, drawn from various branch levels of the party in Kokoben, Island City, Aburaso and other communities within the constituency, have pledged their support for Team Jabari, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to strengthen the party and secure the Atwima Kwanwoma parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2028 general elections.

According to the delegates, their decision to support Solomon Jabari and his team follows a careful assessment of the various candidates and their contributions to the party, which they believe makes Team Jabari the best choice to lead the constituency.

They noted that although Solomon Jabari does not currently hold any constituency-level position, he has continued to make significant contributions to the party by providing logistics, donations and other essential support that helped the NDC during the 2024 general elections.

The delegates further highlighted his support for their businesses through loans, assistance with their wards’ education and his welcoming attitude towards party members, describing these gestures as some of the qualities that distinguish him from other candidates.

Hundreds of delegates attended the endorsement event, where Team Jabari, comprising candidates contesting various executive positions, received their support.

The team includes Solomon Reuben Jabari, aspiring Constituency Chairman; Luqman Mumuni, seeking re-election as Constituency Secretary; Obiri Yeboah, aspiring Vice Chairman; and Agyekum Francis, aspiring Communications Officer, among other candidates who are all positioned number one on the ballot paper.

Speaking on behalf of the team, Luqman Mumuni said the massive endorsement demonstrated that delegates were satisfied with the team’s performance and contributions to the party over the past four years.

He urged delegates to reward the team with their votes on election day to enable them to continue their work and strengthen the party’s chances of winning the Atwima Kwanwoma parliamentary seat from the NPP in 2028.

Mumuni expressed confidence that Team Jabari possessed the experience, commitment and dedication needed to lead the constituency towards electoral victory.

For his part, Agyekum Francis, the aspiring Communications Officer, said the endorsement had boosted their confidence and strengthened their belief in their chances of winning the upcoming elections.

He, however, cautioned the team against becoming complacent, stressing that they would continue working hard and engaging delegates across the constituency until they achieved victory.

The NDC Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency elections are expected to take place on either October 24 or 25, 2026, subject to approval by the party’s National Elections Committee.
