Anomabo, Queen Mothers, MP, Youth, Empowered Women With Love And Lavish Gifts For International Mother’s Day Celebration.

In a heartwarming display of love and gratitude, the vibrant youth of friends of knowledge(masters) in Anomabo, within the Mfantseman Municipality central region, orchestrated a surprise celebration for their mothers, coinciding with International Women’s Day.
This initiative, spearheaded by the “Friends of Knowledge” group, saw young adults showering their maternal figures with an array of impressive gifts, turning an ordinary day into an unforgettable occasion.
Mr. Benjamin Ewusie, the Vice President of Friends of Knowledge(Masters), in an interview with Douglas Oyiboh Amponsah, addressed the mothers with a message of deep appreciation.
“Look calm, mothers,” he assured them, his voice filled with sincerity. , and today’s celebration is a remembrance of all the good things they have done for us since they were born.” The group collectively praised all mothers present, extending heartfelt wishes for good health and happiness in their lives.
The generosity of the Anomabo youth, friends of knowledge evident in the diverse and significant gifts bestowed upon their mothers.
Recipients were delighted to unwrap presents including a 42-inch television, a brand-new refrigerators, a spacious ice chest, a modern oven, cooking utensils, stylish clothing, and even elegant wedding bags, Cash of money etc.
These gifts were not just material possessions but tangible tokens of the profound respect and affection the youth hold for their mothers.
The celebration also served as a powerful reminder to all children.
“We urge all children to obey their mothers,” the youth emphasized.
“They have suffered immensely for us, from the challenges of pregnancy right through to childbirth and beyond.” This sentiment resonated deeply, highlighting the sacrifices mothers make and reinforcing the importance of filial piety and enduring love.
This remarkable initiative by the Anomabo friends of knowledge youth beautifully underscores the spirit of International Mother’s Day, celebrating the invaluable contributions of mothers and empowering them with the recognition and appreciation they truly deserve.
The Omankrado Henmaa of Anomabo Traditional council Nana Bruba VII, Aplaud the friends of knowledge (Masters) s urging that mother’s are very important to the family as elders normally says father is the head and spiritual faith to the family but mother’s also are care takers of the family so as today they are celebrating mother’s day it is time for young adults and children to respect their mother’s and honor them with gift because mother’s has suffered a lot in life and this is the time for us to show them love.
The Member of Parliament for the Mfantseman constituency, Hon. Dr. Ebenezer Prince Kojo Arhine, has lauded mothers for their profound sacrifices and unwavering dedication, particularly during the challenging journey of pregnancy.
Addressing attendees, he poignantly described the extreme discomfort some mothers endure, noting instances where the craving for food is overshadowed by an inexplicable desire for dust – a stark reminder of the physical toll pregnancy can take.
“We must acknowledge the silent battles our mothers fight,” Hon. Arhine stated, his voice resonating with empathy.
“Their strength during pregnancy, when their bodies are undergoing immense transformation and sometimes experiencing unusual cravings, is a testament to their incredible resilience.”
Looking towards the future, the MP encouraged mothers present and those across the constituency to nurture and guide their sons and daughters with the aspiration that they will grow to become influential figures in society.
