Ekumfi Assembly On The Right Track Record” For Development, DCE Assures.

The Ekumfi District Assembly is firmly on a path of progress, with significant strides being made in developmental projects, according to District Chief Executive (DCE) Honorable Ishmael Nana Asamoah.
Speaking in an interview with Douglas Oyiboh Amponsah, at the First Ordinary Meeting of the Third Session of the Fourth Assembly in 2026, the DCE expressed his optimism about the district’s current trajectory, highlighting it as a period of unprecedented improvement.
“This is the first time I have witnessed such significant improvement in development within our constituency and district,” Honorable Asamoah declared, underscoring the positive momentum.
He called upon assembly members to redouble their efforts and actively support the government’s overarching agenda to enhance crucial sectors such as healthcare, education, sanitation,
Water, and other infrastructures are yet to commission and others are in lengthening level within the district.
The DCE specifically pointed to the assembly’s concentrated focus on tangible development projects as a clear indicator of forward movement.
He confidently stated that the assembly is indeed heading in the “right direction” to bring about meaningful change and lasting benefits for the residents of Ekumfi.
Honorable Asamoah further emphasized the critical role assembly members play in embracing and championing the government’s development agenda.
The presiding member of the Ekumfi district assembly, Hon. Kakra Nkatsia Richardson, has highlighted a remarkable surge in developmental activity within the district.
For the first time ever, the district is witnessing a significant number of development projects, including schools, hospitals, and markets, alongside extensive renovation works.
The execo report indicates that over 4 to 8 projects are actively being worked on, a clear sign that things are truly picking up pace.
With more projects slated for completion and commissioning by year-end, the assembly is demonstrating its commitment to progress.
This period of accelerated growth also emphasizes the importance of assembly members holding themselves accountable for their community’s development and showcasing the good work done during their term.
