Police Shoots And Disarm ‘Juju’ Man Over Attack On Palace Messenger.

Drama unfolded at the Agona Amenfi Palace in the Western Region, where a messenger dispatched to retrieve a ceremonial hoe for the commissioning of a new maternity ward was injured in an attack by a suspect dressed in a traditional smock and adorned with talismans.
The suspect, who believed his “juju” would protect him, allegedly blocked access to the palace.
The situation escalated into a full-blown standoff when police officers arrived. After attempts to calm the situation failed, officers had no choice but to open fire. The suspect was shot, subdued, and arrested.
Both the suspect and the injured messenger were rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
End.
