Commuters Stranded After Collapse Of Bridge On Mampong-Ejura Highway.

Economic activities on the Mampong-Ejura highway have come to a halt following the collapse of the Sataso bridge in the Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti region.

The bridge caved in on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, following several hours of heavy rainfall.

The stretch serves as a critical link between Mampong and Ejura.

Meanwhile ,construction work was still ongoing on the structure but reports suggest that some long vehicles(Trailer) have blocked the temporary one they did making it impossible for vehicular movement.

Some commuters spoke to our reporter Kwame Asumanin.
