Nkwantanan Chief Laments Poor Roads, Delay In Completion Of School And Chips Compound Projects.

The Odikro of Gomoa Nkwantanan in the Gomoa East District, Obirikafo Gyebu IlI, has bemoaned the poor state of roads in the community and criticized the Government and Assembly over delays in completing ongoing school and CHIPS compound projects.

According to him, the community’s roads are in a deplorable condition, making them difficult to access and discouraging potential investors.

He added that the roads become virtually impassable for motorists during the rainy season.

Speaking at the installation ceremony of the Gomoa Nkwantanan Sompahene, Nana Obirikafo Kwaku Gyebu III also expressed concern over the delay in completing ongoing classroom blocks and the CHIPS compound in the area.

He appealed to the Gomoa East District Assembly to expedite work on the projects and ensure their completion to improve access to education and healthcare services for residents.

The Odikro further commended the newly installed Sompahene, Nana Sompa I, for his support and contribution to the development of the community.

He encouraged him to continue working hard to bring more development to the area following his elevation to the traditional position.

Meanwhile, the newly installed Sompahene of Gomoa Nkwantanan, Nana Sompa I, has assured Nananom and residents of his commitment to working hard to attract more development projects to the community.

He pledged to collaborate with traditional leaders and other stakeholders to improve the living conditions of the people and position the community for greater development.
