Traders At Abuakwa CMB Seek Asantehene, President Mahama’s Interventions

Traders at Abuakwa Office CMB in the Atwima Nwabiagya South of the Ashanti Region have appealed to the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, President John Mahama, MCE, Wisdom Boamah and the traditional leaders of Abuakwa to intervene on their behalf as the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assembly authorities want to evacuate them (traders) from their trading places.

Speaking to Atinka News reporter, Bismark Mensah Angel Tv News, the traders said they woke up one morning only to witness warning of evacuation on their container shops by the assembly authorities to demolish their shops within few days.

Madam Linda Prempeh, on behalf of the aggrieved traders pleaded with the authorities to temper justice with mercy.

“Should we be removed from this our trading places, we will have no place to continue our trading, which could lead most of us into lives that society frown on. Which we don’t want to”.

Mad. Prempeh therefore appealed to the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II, President John Mahama, MCE, and the Abuakwa Traditional authorities to as a matter of urgency intervene on their behalf.
