Agona Swedrum Police Set Over 30 Ghettos Ablaze, Arrest Suspects In A Ghetto Swoop

Agona Swedru district police commander in Agona West have set over 30 ghettos ablaze and arrested some suspects suspected to be drug dealers.

Following the rise in drug abuse and crime activities in the municipality, the district police command today embarked on serious operation within the municipality where over 30 ghettos were set ablaze and arrest some suspects.

The police retrieved many illicit drugs such as red, tramadol, wee, cigarettes, and deadly weapons from the various ghettos.

According to report, those ghettos were hide in bushes within the municipality where drugs are sold there and deadly weapons as well.

Most of the suspect were able to escaped from the police but some to were arrested and are currently assisting police with investigations.
