Western Regional Minister Joseph Nelson has officially announced the tragic death of Flying Officer Twum Ampadu, who was among the eight individuals who lost their lives in the incident on Wednesday, August 6.

Flying Officer Twum Ampadu before was stationed at the Takoradi Air Force Base.

His wife, Lieutenant Ewuradwoa Kumi-Kyeremeh, serves as a psychologist at the 2nd Garrison Western Naval Command in Sekondi.

He expressed shock upon receiving the distressing news, which cast a pall over the 2nd Garrison.
