Thieves Flee After Botched Goat And Sheep Theft In Aboadze

In a bizarre turn of events, three unidentified men fled after attempting to steal 25 goats and sheep from the Aboadze community in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.

According to reports by Douglas Oyiboh Amponsah, the incident occurred around 2 a.m., when suspicious activity involving a taxi with registration number GT 5673–12 caught the attention of residents.

The thieves had loaded the stolen animals into the taxi but faced community resistance when their actions were uncovered.

In a strange twist, the men tried to return the animals to their original locations, but their getaway ended in an accident.

The suspects abandoned the damaged taxi and fled on foot, leaving behind the animals and the vehvehicle.

Shockingly, all 25 goats and sheep involved in the incident are now deceased and have been taken to the police station.

Authorities have announced that the animals are available for sale, as investigations continue to locate the suspects.

This incident has left residents calling for stronger security measures to prevent such audacious thefts in the future.
