Saltpond Prabiw Launches Mechanise Pipeline Project To Combat Dry Season Water Crisis

Saltpond Prabiw, in the mfantseman municipality of Central Ghana – The leader of Saltpond Prabiw community Mr John Boison has initiated a crucial infrastructure project with the commissioning of a new mechanized pipeline project.

Speaking in an interview with Douglas Oyiboh Ampnsah, Mr Boison,the project officer, spearheaded by the Saltpond Prabiw fraternity, is designed to alleviate the persistent water scarcity issues that plague the community, especially during the dry season.

The pipeline initiative will directly benefit residents by providing a reliable source of water for both domestic and agricultural purposes.

The fraternity has worked closely with local authorities to ensure the project’s success, securing necessary resources and expertise. Community members are hopeful that this development will significantly improve their quality of life and bolster local agricultural efforts.

The Residents of the Prabiw Electra area in Saltpond are set to benefit from a new water project, but their assembly member, Hon. Shadrach Abeiku Quansah, is emphasizing the importance of responsible usage and community involvement to ensure its long-term success.

Speaking in an interview with Douglas Oyiboh Ampnsah, Hon. Quansah highlighted the persistent water challenges faced by the community, particularly during the dry season and when pipe infrastructure experiences disruptions.

“We’ve all felt the impact of these water shortages,” he stated. “It’s crucial that we cherish this new resource and make it last.”

The assembly member urged residents to adopt a culture of water conservation and proper maintenance.

He emphasized the collective responsibility of the community in safeguarding the project, highlighting the pride and fraternity that comes with providing essential services.

Hon. Quansah concluded, expressing his appreciation for the community’s collaborative spirit in bringing the water project to fruition.
