Suame Interchange MCE Frank Owusu Ansah Leads Demolition Of Structures To Fast-Track Construction.

The Suame Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Frank Owusu Ansah, in collaboration with Rango Construction Limited, has commenced the demolition of structures obstructing the construction of the much-anticipated Suame Interchange in the Ashanti Region.

The exercise, which began morning at Maakro, targeted several structures around the Suame Post Office enclave to pave the way for the smooth continuation of the interchange project.

Speaking to the media at the demolition site, Hon. Frank Owusu Ansah explained that the move was necessary to prevent delays and ensure timely delivery of the project.

“This demolition exercise is to give way for the construction of the Suame Interchange. If these structures remain, they will delay and hinder the progress of work.

That is why we are taking this step now,” he stated.

The MCE appealed to affected traders, shop owners, and residents to cooperate with the Assembly and the contractors to allow for uninterrupted work.

“I am appealing to all those who will be affected by this exercise to cooperate with us. We need everyone’s support to ensure the construction of the interchange is fast-tracked for the benefit of all,” he said.
