Tema Police Screen1,000 Applicants In Ongoing Recruitment Exercise

The Ghana Police Service in the Tema Region has screened 1,000 shortlisted applicants through documentation and body inspection as part of its recruitment process.

The exercise, which forms Phase II of the recruitment process for the 2025/2026 intake, was conducted in an orderly and efficient manner.

 

A total of 500 applicants were screened during the morning session, while another 500 underwent the process in the afternoon as part of a one-day exercise.

Speaking to the media, the Head of the Public Affairs Unit of the Tema Regional Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dede Dzakpasu, explained that the process had so far been smooth and incident-free, with no casualties recorded.

Some applicants who participated in the exercise expressed satisfaction with the organization of the process, noting that they were provided with drinks and biscuits, which helped them remain relaxed. They also described the screening as swift, with queues properly managed.
