Man Found Dead In Aboabo Drain, Suspected Lynching

A lifeless body of an unidentified young man, believed to be in his 20s, was discovered in a drain at Aboabo in the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region on Friday, January 30.

The Unit Committee Member for the Aboabo Extension electoral area, Sumaila Dauda, suspects the victim was lynched before being dumped in the drain, citing signs of severe beating on the body.

The police have conveyed the body to the morgue and launched an investigation into the incident.
