One In Critical Condition, Over 40 Injured Including Police Officers After Bee Attack At Anoanda Police Station.

One person is reportedly in critical condition, while more than 40 others including police officers sustained injuries after a swarm of bees attacked the Daavi Bless Police Station at Gomoa Amoanda Junction in the Gomoa East District
According to reports, the bees suddenly attacked residents, police personnel, and individuals who were on duty at the station at the time of the incident.
Sources indicate that the swarm was inside a faulty vehicle parked in front of the police station.
The bees reportedly became aggressive and attacked people when the driver opened the car bonnet to inspect the engine.
Some victims speaking in an interview with Angel news said the bees attacked more than 50 people and even killed a fowl during the incident.
He confirmed that one person is currently in critical condition.
The victims further explained that officers locked up the police station for over five hours while the bees spread across the area.
He added that he was called from his house to help spray the area to drive the bees away, but he became trapped in the situation and was also stung.
Currently, the police and residents are appealing for immediate intervention, as the bees are still swarming in the area and continue to pose a serious threat to the public.
