Ashaiman Killings Of A Young Army Officer; Victims Of Army Brutality Demands Compensation.
Victims who suffered a serious brutality by soldiers after the killing of a young army officer demand compensation after two years neglecting them.
According to Emmanuel Kumadey who is the solicitor for the plaintiff, the compensation includes restoring properties and missen money together with paying a reasonable amount to victims will serve Justice to the victims and the victims will as well be satisfied.
He added that, some victims of the brutality have undergone surgeries whilst others were left in the hospitals for a long period of time, that he said cannot tell the amount of money each victim will receive.
Lawyer Emmanuel said, he believes strongly in the Judiciary and knows Justice will be well served no matter how long it takes.
Lawyer Emmanuel when asked by the media if the then government compensated the victims, disclosed that, the defense committee in parliament came to check on the victims and promised to compensate them which the victims are still holding unto till date and believes strongly the victims will be served diligently.
